The marina is a 25-minute drive from Barranquilla. You need to take a moto from the marina to the highway then the bus to town, total cost $6,000 peso or about US$3. You can also rent a van and driver for the day about $180,000 peso or US$90 and share the costs with others to make it affordable. The driver doesn't speak English but works with poor Spanish and is very helpful.
