Puerto Natales - Restrictions

Apr 13, 2024

Where is Puerto Natales?

Puerto Natales is a port city on the eastern shore of the Señoret Channel in Chile’s southern Patagonia. It’s the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park to the northwest.

It is only a few miles from the Argentinian border.

Entrance Notes and Cautions:

Puerto Natales used to be a friendly stop for cruisers, however the fishing harbour no longer welcomes visiting yachts. It is really only possible to anchor here, a pity, as it's a useful stop to visit the Balmaceda and Serrano glacierss for boats touring the Patagonian fjords.

Puerto Natales Position:

51° 44'S, 72° 31'W
