Visiting yachts are rare here and theft, not a problem.
There is a possible anchorage at Porto de Maio on the SW side of the island. Try to find a sandy patch to drop your anchor in.
This anchorage does suffer from a southerly swell making landing ashore a little tricky. There is long pier to the west of the anchorage that might make things a little easier.
