There is a coin-operated laundromat near the Venezuela supermarket on the road out of town towards Playa de las Americas, open 0800-1600 Monday to Friday and 0900-1300 Saturdays. The laundry Lavanderia Los Cristianos is in Calle Barranquilla 11, close to the church. Open 0600-1500 Monday to Friday.
There is good shopping with several small supermarkets in town. The Cofradia will recommend the best supermarket, as they appear to change frequently. There are a lot of shops of every description in the pedestrian precinct, Calle General Franco. There is no fresh produce market in town, but all the supermarkets stock fruit and vegetables. In the mornings there are stalls selling fresh fish by the boatyard (next to the beach). Yachts provisioning in larger quantities for the Atlantic crossing may find it worthwhile to make the trip to Kasur, cash and carry warehouse on the outskirts of town which is the largest supermarket and reputedly best for value (open 0900-1300, 1600-1900, Monday to Saturday).
