Discuss any repairs needed with the Harbourmaster. It may be necessary to go to Santa Cruz or Los Llanos, the second largest town on the island, which is nearer.
The travel lift operation depends on the absence of surge, which occasionally affects the harbor.
A 50-ton travel lift is due to be in operation by November 2011.
