Playa Santiago - Docking

Oct 26, 2022

YOU MUST PRE-BOOK A BERTH HERE – SEE TOP OF PAGE FOR DETAILS.

Entrance:

Most of the inner harbor is occupied by fishing boats but in calm conditions and with the permission of the security guard it is possible to lie alongside the breakwater. Alternatively go alongside the main quay, past the large fenders marking the area used by the regular jet-foil. There is some space to come alongside on the inner quay by the travel-lift pen.

In strong east and southeast winds surge is a problem and if berthed alongside the quay, hold off with the help of an anchor.

Anchoring:

Anchoring in the harbor is prohibited.

There is an anchorage in 6m to the northeast of the short stone pier. Holding is good over sand and stones. Dinghies can be left on the beach or near the steps at the end of the harbor.
