Ferries form one of the principal sources of transportation on Vancouver Island and can connect you to both the United States (Bellingham, Seattle) and the Canadian mainlands. Float planes can also connect you to many places.

Victoria has red double-decker London buses for more local journeys within the town, as well as horse-drawn vehicles.
