Call Port Control on VHF on approach.
No one should either leave or visit the boat until the clearance is completed. All the appropriate officials will visit the boat within the Port of Varna (at the Yacht Club or marina) and the paperwork completed onboard. Reports are that this is very speedily done. There are no fees payable.
Call Port Control to advise of departure. The officials will visit the yacht and outward clearance procedures are quick and effortless.
If arriving from within Bulgaria, there's no need to check-in with officials.
