The farmers market is Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Saturdays 7 am - 11 am (more or less). Good for fruit, vegetables, and seafood.
The market is one block along Front Street. Wednesdays and Saturdays are the big market days. Local produce, Guatemalan ware, and handcrafted items from local Mayan artists are for sale.
American-style groceries can be obtained at "White Supaul". Just ask a local where it is.
Most stores close from 12 until 1 pm or 2 pm in the afternoons.
