Nieuwpoort - Docking

The modern marinas here offer all facilities and the port also gives access to the Belgian Inland Waterway network for those boats prepared to de-mast.

The coastal marinas are housed in two yacht basins which offer access at all tides and in all weathers: Vlotkom (KYCN) and Novus Portus (VYN and WSKLum). All are Yacht Club facilities:

• Vlaamse Yachthaven Nieuwpoort (VYN) is part of the TransEurope Marinas family. This is a full-service marina including a fuel dock and clubhouse with a bar/restaurant.
  
• The Belgian Air Force Yacht Club (WSKLuM) is located adjacent to VYN and has a visitor's pontoon.
• The Koninlijke Yacht Club (KYCN), which welcomes visitors, is located on the opposite bank of the river.

Marina vzw De Ljzervaarders is located up-river and only accesible without a mast.

VYN provide a very useful city map with walking and cycling distances.
