Casuarina Harbour is located within the southern portion of what is known as Bunbury's "Outer Harbour", which forms the commercial port. Access to the Boat Harbour is through the Outer Harbour.
There is limited room for visiting yachts in the Boat Harbour. It is possible to anchor in the Outer Harbour, immediately east of the Koombana Sailing Club, which is sheltered from all but northerly winds.
About 30nm SW of Bunbury, in the center of Geographe Bay, in Busselton, is the Port Geographe marina.
