Falmouth Harbour Docking

Anchorages:

It is possible to anchor anywhere in the harbor but keep clear of the channels and the exclusion area in front of the Antigua Yacht Club and Falmouth Harbour marinas.

All yachts at anchor in Falmouth Harbour must pay local harbour fees and all yachts visiting marinas within the National Park area must pay harbour fees in addition to marina berthing fees. See Fees for specific park fees payable in English and Falmouth Harbors.

A comprehensive list of anchorages is available from the Antigua and Barbuda Marine Guide.

A fire in the marina complex in October 2023 following Storm Philippe destroyed buildings and affected a number of well known businesses, including the Yacht Club Marina. Rebuild will likely not be completed until the end of 2024, however temporary services have re-opened on the old site in new container buildings including restaurants and bars. See news report.

Security:

Based on reports to Noonsite from cruisers and CSSN, thefts of dinghies outboards and unsecured or loose items is on the rise in many Caribbean ports.  Even locked and secured hardware is stolen so be vigilant and be prepared.

See the Antigua and Barbuda Security section for more information.
