Pago Pago - Marine Supplies

Normal shopping hours are Mon-Fri 0830 to 1700 and Saturday until 1200.

A limited selection of marine equipment is available from some hardware stores on the customs dock, in town and in the Tafuna Industrial Park, but anything can be ordered and shipped in from the USA at American postal rates! Do bear in mind however that delivery time will depend on what you are ordering and if it can be carried as air or ship freight (see report adjacent).

In general, if you use priority mail, most things will arrive within 2 weeks. Defender and West Marine (for example) will ship directly to you. Have them shipped to the post office. Use the address as follows:

Other items (heavier or larger) items can be shipped in, but allow about 2 to 3 months.

UPS Express Mail works quite well. FedEx and DHL also will ship to American Samoa but are more expensive and not much faster. Priority mail only comes in once a week.

The Tool Shop: Right behind the fuel dock. Has some marine hardware, fishing equipment and tools. Fill dive tanks. Fred, the owner, is a fountain of knowledge.

NAPA and a Tool Shop and Building Supply store are both located close to the airport.
