Call the Authorities on VHF Channel 16 or 14 before entering the port.
The Coast Guard will board the boat at the entrance.
Coast Guard, Police, Harbor Master and Immigration will visit the boat to complete formalities. If entering or leaving Algeria insist on getting a visit from Customs. It can take some time to organise this.
Politely decline to give any 'gifts'.
