International Dialing Code for Greenland is +299.

Mobile roaming agreements exist but coverage is limited to the main towns. Handsets can be hired at TELE Greenland shops (in all cities). A deposit is required. Roaming agreements exist with some international mobile phone companies.

There are no public phone boxes.

Internet cafes in the towns and some libraries.

Post office hours: Mon-Fri 09:00-15:00. Greenland produces its own stamps which are popular among collectors. Post from Greenland takes about four to five days to reach Europe.

Aasiaat Radio is the last maritime radio station in Greenland and talk to most of the sailboats coming up along the coast. Nanna (nsa@tusass.gl) is intended to take over from Bo Mogensen (BM@tusass.gl) in 2024.

It will help to have at least VHF on board preferably with AIS. Moreover an Iridium set are recommended. SpaceX satellite system is said to be useful up to 76°N on the west coast of Greenland.
