The Karpaz Peninsula is a stunning, pristine cruising area located in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Leisure yachts have been able to cruise this region since 2011, following the lifting of army zone limitations covering Cyprus’ northern shores, which were imposed back in 1974 and the marina is a convenient port of entry to relatively unexplored cruising grounds.
Karpaz Gate Marina is located in Yenierenkoy Harbor on the Karpaz Peninsula, a sheltered bay halfway along the north coast. Just 64 kms (40 miles) south of Turkey, it a very convenient port of call for those cruising the eastern Mediterranean.
Karpaz Gate Marina is an official Port of Entry so arriving and departing by sea into the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is quick and easy, as marina staff co-ordinate all customs and passport checks onsite.
It is a full service marina with premium facilities including restaurants, beach club, watersport facilities, technical centre, boutique hotel, hamam and spa. They also operate a number of RYA courses. Staff are reported to be welcoming and friendly with a growing community of cruisers who leave boats over winter.

If entering the marina at night, beware of an unlit mooring buoy in the approach to the entrance.
