Description:
Puerto Montt lies on the top of Reloncaví Sound which is at the northern end of the Chilian Channels.

Good shelter, marina facilities, travelift, diesel, propane refills (but costly), good supermarkets and fresh markets, German butcher.
Entrance Notes or Cautions:
Do not enter Canal Tenglo to the north of Isla Tenglo, ro-ro ferries berth stern to the wharf in the commercial port with headlines across to the island. It is also very shallow in parts.
