Pets coming from the Channel Islands, UK, or Isle of Man can enter Jersey without restrictions. Pets coming from the Republic of Ireland require a valid pet passport.
Before arriving at a Jersey harbour or anchorage, the skipper or master of the vessel must contact Jersey Coastguard (VHF Channel 82) or St. Helier VTS (VHF Channel 14).
Animals are not allowed at St. Helier Marina, regardless of their status or place of origin. Vessels with animals on board wishing to berth in St. Helier will be directed to Elizabeth Marina (subject to availability) or the holding pontoons located outside St. Helier Marina on berths 4 and 5.
Boats with animals on board coming from other territories or countries must notify the Jersey Coastguard or St. Helier VTS before arrival and must anchor offshore. The boat will not be permitted to take a berth and must remain on anchor. The pet will not be permitted to land.

Animals from outside the UK, Jersey, the Isle of Man, and the Republic of Ireland cannot be landed by private vessel in Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, or Herm, even if they have a valid pet passport or animal health certificate.
Any animal on board must remain securely confined within an enclosed part of the vessel from which it cannot escape. If found ashore, the animal will be detained and may be subject to six months' quarantine or destroyed, and the master of the vessel will be prosecuted.
