YachtFlags.com provides high quality courtesy flags that are manufactured in durable Knitted Polyester fabric. Knitted so that the fabric itself does not deteriorate in the constant movement that marine flags are usually exposed to, and polyester so that the flag does not weaken in the strong UV-light usually found in the main sailing areas of the world.

Airports/Airlines:
The main international airport - Amilcar Cabral Airport - is located on Ilha do Sal. The main carrier is Cabo Verde Airlines [caboverdeairlines.com], but TAP [flytap.com] and other scheduled and charter airlines also provide routes.
International flights also land at Nelson Mandela International Airport (Santiago), CEsaria Evora Airport (Sao Vicente) and Aristides Pereira International Airport (Boavista).
All islands have an airport apart from Santo Antao and Brava, for inter-island flights. See Binter CV/TICV for schedules [ticv.cv]. Note that flights are frequently cancelled.
Cabo Verde Express [caboverdeexpress.com] offer flights to/from the African mainland.
Ferries:
CV Interilhas [cvinterilhas.cv] operate ships and catamarans between the islands.
Buses:
Buses are infrequent. More useful are the aluguer (which means to hire), which tend to be unmarked cars, minibuses or pick-up trucks. Simply ask the driver where they are headed and get in (if there's space). Have small change with you as fares are low.
Car Hire:
Compared to the other Atlantic islands, care hire costs are high. There may well be km charge. Most foreign driving licenses are accepted. It may be more relaxed and cheaper to hire a taxi tour for the day.
Hitchhiking:
This is acceptable and common and you may well be offered a lift by locals. Make sure if you are that it's not an unmarked taxi (aluguer) or you will be charged for the lift!
