Clearance Fees

Cruisers' experiences indicate that the 'fees' requested vary greatly and not all officials are familiar with the paperwork involved with visiting yachts. Entrance and exit fees vary depending on the size of the yacht and the captain's negotiating skills.

A 40-50ft yacht should expect to pay between US$300-500 for a six month stay. Extensions are only available by checking out of the country, leaving and returning.

Immigration Fees

• Normal visas cost US$30pp.
• Electronic visas cost US$40 - Us$50, obtained prior to arrival.
• A visa extension for one-month costs approx. US$45. This can be arranged via a travel agent. It is not necessary to go to Phnom Penh.
• A Business visa for one year costs approx. US$300.
• Taxi to the Border and back US$20

Agents Fee:

These will vary but expect to pay around US$250.
