BVI Yacht Fees

Fees in the BVI are reported to vary depending on where you clear in and the officer on duty. If you question a fee being charged, contact the Ports Authority and keep all receipts.

This is Noonsite's best understanding of the general fees. Users are encouraged to reach out with any updates or comments to clarify fees being charged.

Immigration:

  • $20 per vessel

Custom Fees:

  • Based on tonnage reported to vary between $8 and $55.
  • After 1 month, there is a Temporary Importation fee of $600 (increased from $200). This covers the yacht for 1 year.

Overtime Fees:

  • $20 overtime may be charged outside office hours (may vary).

Environmental and Tourism Levy:

  • $10 per person (children under 2 years old exempt)

National Parks Mooring Permit:

  • The cost of a National Parks Permit is dependent on the number in your party. Therefore, it will vary from $25 per week for 4 guests up to $55 per week for 10 guests. See BVI National Parks Trust Website for details.

Fishing License:

Exit Fee:

  • $5 per person

Charter Vessels:

  • Charter vessels are subject to separate fees—contact your agency.

Mooring Buoys:

This varies depending on where you pick up a mooring from $35/$45 per night
