Bosnia and Herzegovina Immigration

A passport is required and must be valid for at least three months.

All foreign nationals must register with the police within 72 hours of arrival.

Bosnia & Herzegovina does not recognize passports issued by the Former Yugoslav Federation Republic (Serbia & Montenegro), which have a red cover.

No visa required for citizens of the EU, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Brunei, Croatia, Federated States of Micronesia, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Korea, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, San Marino, Seychelles, Serbia, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, Uruguay, USA and Venezuela for stays of up to 90 days within a six month period.

All other citizens must apply for a visa prior to entry.

Ensure your passport is stamped on entry or you may be fined when you leave.

Travelers to Bosnia and Herzegovina is required to have a minimum amount of 150.00 KM cash (or the equivalent in foreign convertible currency) for each day of the intended stay.
