To initiate a rescue at sea call MRCC Fort-de-France (Martinique).
They will hear you on VHF Ch 16 anywhere from Northern St Vincent to halfway between Guadeloupe and Antigua via several sensitive radio repeaters.
They monitor comms 24/7 and can speak both French and English.
