Description:
Wallaroo is situated on a very open bay on the eastern side of the Spencer Gulf, about 50nm due south of Whyalla. It has a long jetty for handling grain exports. It is also a ferry port. Just north of this is the entrance to the very sheltered harbour of Copper Cove.
