Description:
This raw sugar exporting port is about 70 miles north of Townsville. It lies on the mainland, opposite the southern end of the Hinchinbrook Island National Park and at the entrance to the Hinchinbrook Channel.
As with several of the commercial exporting facilities in Queensland, it consists of a single trestle jetty with a conveyor and an off-shore loading berth.
