Argentina Immigration Procedures for Yacht Crew

All visitors require a valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of entry to the country, and at least one blank page (two pages) available.

Nationals of Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela can use their valid identity card.

For Immigration procedures on arrival, see the Clearance section.

Do I need a visa?

Visitors from the majority of countries can visit without a visa for up to 90 days (extendable for another similar period).

Follow this link to the Government website to find out if you need a visa and how to get one.

As of August 2018, nationals of the United States, Canada, and Australia don’t have to pay a reciprocity fee, like it was in the past.

Visit the Argentina Immigration website for more details.

Note:

Carry your passport at all times if traveling inland.
