Operated by the Parks Department Marina Division. Located in the heart of Manhattan offering dock space and mooring balls (although mooring balls are prohibited for catamarans - new policy 2012). With a dinghy it is possible to get ashore and use the showers, the washing machine and drier. Water, pumpout facility, visitors' berths.
Note:
The 79th Street Boat Basin marina is currently closed. No vessel dockage, moorage, anchorage or launch services are available.
