Harbor Master Steve Kirk asks if yachts will please e-mail him 24 hours in advance of arrival. Not only can he allocate you a mooring buoy, but they will arrange to clear you in.
Office hours are 0830-1600 on weekdays, however, officials will come out during the weekend to clear boats in at no extra charge with advance notification.
