This is a private, family orientated boat club, offering BBQ facilities, galley, pub, TV lounge, toilets and showers and swimming pool. In addition, the club owns some moorings that are usually available for visitors, and members’ moorings that if unoccupied are also utilised to accommodate visiting boats. First come first served. The club also has a cable operated haulout facility. There is a small jetty for temporary berthing (4 hours) for watering etc. (no power or water on the jetty). Overnight permission may be given however there is limited depth here at low tide and the water shoals towards the bank. Stern-to mooring is not advised. Latest reports (2012) are that the Club has become rather run down, however, the Club has assured noonsite that maintenance is on-going. No public transport from Club to Durban, however taxis available and members are very friendly offering lifts. Limited local amenities.
