Marina and boatyard located 10 minutes from Ao Nang and across the river from Krabi Town.
March 2025 the marina commenced phase 2 expansion to add 80 wet berths for yachts ranging from 10 to 25 metres (expected to be completed April 2025) and a marina administrative building called the Capitainerie - complete with showers, loos and a nice swimming pool (expected to be completed towards the end of 2025). The marina first opened in 2018 with 49 wet berths ranging from 10 – 45 metres and a boatyard with 9,000 sq.m of service area.
Services include water & electricity, showers & toilets, diesel & gasoline fuel, all-day cafe, and security. The boatyard is equipped with a 38-ton Roodberg boat lift, shore storage, pressure wash, onsite chandlery, and comprehensive boat repair services.
Krabi Marine department and immigration offices are across the river while the Krabi Customs is about 3 km away from these offices.
Restaurants, hotels, shops, banks, international hospitals, and entertainment are available in Ao Nang (a major tourist town).
Krabi International Airport is about a 40-minute drive.

In 2022, the Environmental Impact Assessment Committee (EIA) approved plans for a 300
berth marina expansion. This will make Port Takola the largest inland marina in Thailand.
The new Capitainerie building will be a single-story administrative building featuring a 15-metre swimming pool, high standard bathrooms, a marina office, a meeting room, and a convenient/marine parts store. Construction has already begun.
