In 2018 Taylor Smith merged with the other shipyard here - Naval Services. They now operate on 2 sites: Providence Shipyard and Port Victoria shipyard.
The Providence Shipyard has a 150 ton travelift, a crane and a 40 ton yard trailer. There is also extensive hard standing. This shipyard also has wet docks and marina facilities. Situated at the entrance to the Eden Island Waterway. 5-minute drive to the airport and 15 mins to Victoria. 24 hr security. Fuel. Chandlery. Repair and maintenance facilities and services on site.
The Port Victoria Shipyard can service vessels up to 600 tons.
