This is a quieter marina in the north of the Ria at Pobra de Caraminal, a popular marina and town. Modern and sheltered it is very easy to access, even in difficult weather and has alternative nearby anchorages. Plenty of room to manoeuvre at the entrance with spacious pontoons and helpful marineros. Finger pontoons about 3/4 length and low. Contact on Ch. 09 on arrival (difficult to hear marinero sometimes). Waiting pontoon is exposed to the NE as on outside of marina, but very long and easy to tie up to. FUEL berth, water and electricity on pontoons (included in berthing fee), fuel berth inside breakwater stbd. side. Showers and toilets are basic but clean. Club bar and restaurant on site, rubbish bins with recycling. Min. depth 3m. Secure marina for winter storage, space ashore for hard standing. 40-ton travel lift administered by Club at N end of the fishing harbour. Fees very reasonable. Camping Gaz exchanged in the town hardware store. 2 big supermarkets nearby. Is exposed to the SE.
