On the south side of Cindery Island opposite the Brightlingsea town hard, is a long line of pontoons on which local boats and visiting yachts berth. The shelter is good from all but the north-west and the creek has been dredged to 1m below chart datum. There is a water taxi service (VHF channel 37/M1 or mob. 7535 508537) during working hours in the season, otherwise, use own dinghy.
