Description:
A busy commercial port, this is El Salvador's main shipping centre and not really recommended for yachts.
However, if you do visit this town by some other means, Acajutla is a good place to visit several Mayan ruins and coffee plantations as well as to view some of the country's active volcanoes and see some of the native wildlife.
