While trying to work out the best option for your boat and crew during the current health emergency, yacht transport may be one option to consider. Yacht transport companies continue to operate around the world, many with delivery crew to load and discharge your boat, getting it to the closest marina, so you don’t have to worry in your absence. Insurance should also be available through the transport company covering deliveries to and from marinas.
It’s important to note however that it’s unlikely the yacht transport company can get permission for you to move your yacht to another country for loading while borders are closed, therefore yacht shipping will only be an option for yachts already in departure countries.
